Hello, new reader!

This is the journal where I'm going to babble a bit about "the sauce" - how things go behind the scenes of operating my (so far still tiny) home biz, Iron Peacock Works. (You can also see my current linktree for all the relevant biz links.) I'm also still getting the hang of this "business blogging thing", and I *greatly* prefer the free journal layouts here over the excruciatingly and painfully limited free selection on the Wordpress site.

Product announcements will be public, but there are some filters (These are basically access "filters") I have set up for the "sauce" posts. The current posting filters for this journal are:

* Event Preparation
    This will have notes on best ways to prep for events, packing lists, etc.
* Business Operations
    Thoughts and philosophy behind the business.
* Project Notes
    Things in progress, notes on yardage, etc.
* Crafting/DIY Tutorials
    This will be mainly sewing tutorials, but there may be other crafty things as well.

You may ask to be opted in to any of the above filters.

I may not post very often, or I may have periods where I do multiple posts in the span of a few days. A lot of that will depend on how much free time I've got, and what's going on in RL.

If you wish to be notified when I post, use your account settings to plug in a notifier option. (It should only notify you about posts you have rights to see.)

Right now, I'm still sorting out how the journal is going to look and be organized behind the scenes. As I start posting to filters, I'll create a link to find all the posts of the filter's tag so that you know there's now content.
